Errors and limits
An error answers with a status and a JSON body: {"error": "...", "code": "..."}. The message says what to fix; code is there when a program should branch on it.
400The request is malformed: a missing field, a bad value, or not JSON.
401No credential, or one Forge does not accept (unknown, revoked, or the account is no longer admitted).
402Your balance is empty. Add credits in the app; nothing was started.
403The key lacks a scope (
insufficient-scope), or the account cannot use this yet.404No such conversation, or no such route.
405The route exists with another method;
Allow names it.409The message was not accepted, for example a repeated id with a different body.
504
reply was required and the turn ended, or the wait ran out, without a reply. The ids are in the body; the work may carry on.Limits
